SUMMIT SUSPENDS STUDIO OPERATIONS
01st March 2010
HAVE CAMERAS WILL TRAVEL.
Summit Photography is alive and well but has suspended studio operations for an indefinite period of time.
The poor economy and rising overhead costs as well as an increase in on-location assignments has forced Summit Photo to make some tough decisions in regard to maintaining a studio.
“Our studio work accounted for less than a quarter of our business but was a major part of our expenses,” Principal Photographer Michael Duffy said. “We will continue to do Seniors, Families, Babies & Bellies and Weddings but we will take our mobile studio to our clients homes and businesses with out a rate increase that would have been required if we continued our lease.”
Summitwill continue to cover sports and athletes in Tehachapi and Bakersfield.

SUMMIT PHOTOGRAPHERS COVER WARRIOR CIF TITLE VICTORY IN HANFORD
15th December 2008
Photographing football got much tougher last week as Summit Photographers Michael & Esther Duffy traveled to Hanford, California to cover the CIF Central Section Div III championship game but could only see half the field due to thick fog that obscured the home side of the field and the scoreboard. The Warriors, seeded sixth, defeated Hanford, seeded number one, 21-14 to win back to back titles. Photos of the game, the trophy presentation and ensuing celebration are on our gallery. We added a couple of the clear pictures here.
